GG/06 was a project set up in 2006 to re - unite myself and Graham Gouldman with a view to making some new music. It was a tentative stab at continuing a writing partnership that barely got started in 10cc. We're talking seriously unfinished business that delivered only 3 songs in 4 years so this was all about looking for more. From the outset we weren't sure if the songs would be for us or other people - we were hedging our bets, I imagine, in case the juices didn't flow but 1 song in and it felt like we'd never stopped.
